I was excited to participate in the Art Fields portrait competition in 2023, but I had to streamline my collage process to beat the clock, and I had just stocked up on blue paper for some collage landscape skies.
And voila! I made it to the second round!
As the first ever Artist-in-Residence at Confluence in Cramerton the following summer, I had a unique opportunity to live collage live music weekly! So I broke out my blue paper basket, scissors, and glue pens to capture the July artists:
